Privacy policy statement

This privacy policy statement describes how Halogen AS collects and handles information relating to users of our website. The statement outlines your rights with respect to the data that is collected from our website. It also provides more general information about how we process personal data.

Halogen AS is the data controller responsible for the company’s purposes and procedures regarding personal data. The basis for processing is the consent of the individual concerned, unless otherwise specified.

What do we mean by personal data?

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable living individual, for example name, residence, telephone number, email address and professional title. We process the personal data we administer fully in accordance with Norwegian law, including the Personal Data Act and the Personal Data Regulations.

When do we store and use personal data?

Halogen stores and uses the personal data we obtain when you contact us by email from our webpage.

Web analytics and cookies

As an important part of our work in constructing a user-friendly website, we observe the patterns of usage of those who visit our site. We use the Google Analytics tool to analyse this information.

Google Analytics makes use of cookies (small text files that the website stores on the user’s computer) to register an individual user’s IP address and to provide information about his or her web behaviour. The statistics obtained in this manner tell us the following: how many people visit the different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites these users come from and which web browsers they use. None of the cookies enable us to link information about your website usage pattern to you as an individual.

An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a certain computer and therefore to a specific individual. We have activated the “anonymizeIP” function so that your IP address will not be stored with Google. An anonymous IP address cannot be used to identify you as user.

Your right to inspect data

You may at any time ask to inspect the data about yourself that we have stored. You may also request the deletion or blocking of any unnecessary personal data we might process, and ask for any erroneous personal details to be corrected. Please contact us by email at post@halogen.no or by telephone at +47 934 90 400
