Workshops and large, co-creative dialogue meetings
To map how elderly care is experienced by seniors, Halogen facilitated a series of workshops and five dialogue meetings for HOD. Different tables discussed various topics and shared their input. This was then analysed and summarised in a comprehensive report, which forms part of HOD's knowledge base for the implementation of the reform: "Live your whole life."
"An important step in the strategy is to involve seniors in the work of planning future age-friendly local communities. They must tell us themselves what is important to them."
— Line Miriam Sandberg, State Secretary
Halogen helped HOD gain user insight into how elderly care is experienced by senior citizens and other groups involved in creating an age-friendly society.
Visual connections for better governance
Through the project for the Norwegian Directorate of Health, Halogen has clarified the connections between the reform and other initiatives to create a robust governance structure within the Directorate of Health itself. A strong governance structure is crucial for the "Live your whole life" reform to promote mastery, quality of life, and prevent functional decline and illness among the elderly.
