During this development project, Halogen conducted extensive user studies and analysis together with the Defence Research Establishment (FFI). The project also included the development of operator consoles that will be used by multiple roles, as well as the design and organisation of the control room itself.

The control room in a submarine is a unique and demanding work environment. It is crucial that the design of the room provides the best possible situational awareness at all times. The developed solutions must ensure optimal sharing of information in all types of situations.
